Hey everybody so yesterday I went to an acrofit yoga workshop. I’ve been doing acro on and off for about a year now. It combines acrobatics with yoga and is with a partner. 1 person is a base the other a flier….. Depending on the pose I try to do a little bit of both for a great way to learn body control and the different stretches and feelings of each.
However acrofit was something I had never done before. It combines cardio (kind of a cross fit workout) and then goes into acro poses from there. Well my acro partner Melissa invited me to this at prana yoga center in Denville nj…hosted by an amazing guy Angel. His body moved in ways I thought only Michael Jackson could. Lol. He was a great teacher and guide and was extremely fun. I strongly suggest going to a workshop by him. However my arms and body are exhausted….from planking and push ups all the way across the room to geckos and cartwheels…its safe to say I got one hell of a workout and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
